Borneo?s average sales price jumps to $230 per ton

PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk., the only listed coking coal producer in Indonesia has said that average sales price of its coking coal jumped to US$230 per ton last year from $185 per ton in 2010.
The company sold some 3 million tons of coking coal last year including to China, Turkey, India, Japan and Taiwan, doubled from about 1.6 million tons in 2010.
The company has set up long term production capacity to 15 million tons in 2016 from last year of 3 million tons.
?It (the long term production capacity) would be achieved through a combination of expanding current production at Kohong block, bringing Telakon into production and further exploration to expand reserves and resources at both blocks,? the company said in its presentation.
The company is slated to hold public expose on June 1.
