Borneo targets coal output to jump to 2.7m tons

IDX-listed hard coking coal mining company, PT Borneo Lumbung Energi & Metal Tbk said that output this year is targeted to jump by 170 percent to 2.7 million tons.

The company said in a filing with the Indonesia Stock Exchange that output last year reached 1 million tons.

Borneo Director Kenneth Raymond Allan told Petromindo.com on January 9 that output this year was targeted to jump to 2.5 million tons.

Borneo produces coking coal through subsidiary PT Asmin Koalindo Tuhup (AKT). AKT operates coal concession in Muara Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan.
