Bosowa, Duta Firza to build LPG terminal

Local firm PT Duta Firza will form a joint venture with Bosowa Group to build liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) terminal in Makassar, South Sulawesi, the company?s senior official said.

The joint venture, named PT Bosowa Duta Energasindo, will build an LPG terminal with a capacity of 10,000 tons, Duta Firza?s CEO Firlie Ganinduto said on Wednesday as quoted by Investor Daily.

The construction of the terminal is expected to start by the end of this year with a total investment of around US$30-40 million, he said. Once the terminal operates, the joint venture firm will lease it to Pertamina, he added.

He also said that the company?s stake in the joint venture will be 30 percent with the rest to be held by Bosowa Group. (*)
