BP eyeing to acquire Gorontalo exploration block

Energy giant BP plc is eyeing to acquire exploration block in eastern part of Indonesia that are being offered through regular bidding round, a government official said on Friday.

Director General of Oil and Gas Evita Legowo said on Friday that BP is eyeing to participate in the blocks that are located in Gorontalo province.. ?BP, however, has yet submitted proposal,? she said.

Government is currently offering 17 blocks through regular tender mechanism, 7 of which are located in Gorontalo province (Tomini Bay I-V, Gorontalo Tomini I-II). (godang)
