BP Indonesia?s Verchere named as new IPA President

Christina Verchere of BP Indonesia has been named as the new President of the Indonesia Petroleum Association (IPA), replacing Craig Stewart of Ophir Energy.
This was said by IPA Executive Director Marolijn Wajong to Petromindo.com on Thursday. ?There?s personal reason that has made him (Stewart) to no longer be able become IPA president,? he said.
Stewart was re-elected in December of last year as IPA President for the 2016 period. Verchere was a member of the IPA board of directors.
