BP Kangean to receive ISO 14001

Anglo-American energy giant BP Plc is expected to be awarded ISO 14001 for environmental management system in its gas processing facilities in Pagerungan island, East Java.
?A team from Lloyd had conducted assessment in October and they had declared that we are eligible to receive ISO 14001,? said BP Kangean?s district production manager Gatot Bilal during a journalists visit to the island Friday.
Gatot said the award is expected to be handed to BP soon.
BP Kangean is currently East Java's largest gas producer with production of 325 million cubic feet per day.
