BP Migas delays condensate tender winner announcement

Upstream oil and gas authority BP Migas said Tuesday it delayed condensate tender announcement until next week to give more time to BP Migas to examine tender participants? offers.

BP Migas is opening tender to sell 250,000 ? 275,000 barrels per month of Senipah condensate for August 2004-January 2005 liftings.

BP Migas also opened tender to sell 250,000 bbls per month of Duri crude and 150,000 bbls of Cionta crude, all for the same period liftings.

BP Migas deputy chairman in charge of marketing Eddie Poerawanto told reporters Tuesday that some 30 companies including Kipco trading, LG Trading, Mitsui Trading, Itochu trading, CNOOC Trading, Petrochina Trading, Maldivest Trading, Vitol trading, Total trading, Unocal Trading and also Pertamina?s subsidiary Petral.

?All the companies? price offer are above Indonesian Crude Price,? he said.

Eddie said Vitol Trading was the highest bidder for Senipah condensate, but he declined to confirm if the company will be name the tender winner. (godang)
