Indonesian upstream oil and gas authority BP Migas said on Monday that it would intensify LNG marketing approach to the Chinese province of Jiangshu by sending a marketing team this month.
"Jiangshu's potential demand is 3 million tons per annum starting 2007-2008 as indicated by the province's officials," said Joko Harsono, marketing division head of BP Migas on a sideline of a conference.
He, however, said that until now, BP Migas had no information whether Jiangshu would purchase the LNG directly or would open tender.
Joko said the LNG would be sourced from Bontang. (godang)
