BP Migas to help resolve dispute between Musi Banyuasin and Conoco

The country' oil and gas upstream activities regulator BP Migas will facilitate a meeting between Musi Banyuasin regency in South Sumata and oil and gas company ConocoPhillips in a bid to help resolve an ongoing dispute, the Investor Daily Indonesia reported in its Monday edition.
The dispute emerged after the regency threatened to close down the operations of the ConocoPhillips because the company didn't possess a license to utilize electricity.
BP Migas public relations manager Amir Hamzah confirmed the news about the meeting to the Investor but didn't give further details.(*)
