BP Migas to sign eight gas sales contracts with PLN and PGN

The government's agency in charge of oil exploration and production, BP Migas, will complete the signing of eight gas sales agreements with state owned electricity company PLN and state owned gas distributor PGN before the end of this year, Suara Karya reported on Tuesday.

The agreements will cover the sales of gas from Kalilala's Bentu gas field with supply capacity of 15 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) to PLN in Pekanbaru; from Santos's Oyong field with a capacity of 80 MMSCFD to PLN in Grati; from ConocoPhillips' gas field in South Sumatra, with a capacity of 400 MMSCFD to PLN; and from BP Indonesia?s Tambak Lorok gas field with a 100 MMSCFD to PLN in Grati.

The agreements also cover the supply of gas from Kodeeco's KE gas field with a capacity of 15 MMSCFD to PGN in Batam, and from CNOOC's gas Pabelokan field to PGN with a capacity of 80 MMSCFD. (*)
