BP resumes exploration ops in Tangguh

Anglo-American super major Bp plc said it has resumed exploration activities in Tangguh area, West Papua.
BP Indonesia President William Lin told Petromindo.Com on Wednesday that the Company has conducted 3D seismic in one part of the blocks and is currently shooting 3D seismic in another.
Seismic data will be evaluated and the Company might resume drilling in the next two years, he said.
Tangguh PSCs comprise of Muturi, Berau and Wiriagar PSCs.
The PSCs currently supply gas to Tangguh LNG plant which has capacity to produce 7.6 million tonnes of LNG per annum from two trains. (alex)
