BP starts Tangguh turnaround

Indonesian unit of energy giant BP said on Tuesday that routine maintenance on Tangguh LNG plant Unit-1 in West Papua has commenced as planned on May 19, 2014.

BP Indonesia Head of Country Dharmawan Samsu told petromindo.Com that the maintenance will be completed in approximately 21 days and has been factored into Tangguh?s 2014 production plan.

Tangguh has two units of LNG plants, each with capacity of 3.8MTPA.

Separately, SKKMigas spokesperson Zudaldi Rafdi said that during maintenance, production from Tangguh will be reduced by 225MMCFD of gas and 1,1000 BPD of liquids.
