Oil and gas firm BP Plc will stop liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from its Offshore North West Java Sea (ONWJ) block starting second week of September due to some major repairs in LPG processing facilities.
Bambang Partono, Senior Manager BP West Java Operations told Petromindo.com during a visit to the company?s offshore facilities Tuesday that LPG production would be stopped for a month.
Currently, said Bambang, ONWJ produced some 5,000 barrels per day of LPG, all of which were exported to China.
BP would resume its current LPG production after the repairs were completed, said Bambang. (alex)
