The downstream oil and gas regulator BPH Migas has issued Regulation No 14/2016, which amends Regulation No 8/2013 on tariff of gas transportation via pipeline.

According to copy of the new regulation obtained by petromindo.com, the tariff is set using US dollar per one mscf (thousand standard cubic feet) of natural gas transported by the transporter.

Regarding contracts and/or amended contracts signed after July 1, 2015, payment for the transportation tariff of gas via pipeline is made using the rupiah with exchange rate based on the Jakarta Interbank Spot Dollar Rate (JISDOR) at the time of payment.
