Tender documents for the planned 170-km open access gas pipeline project linking Grissik, Tanjung Api-Api (South Sumatra), and Muntok (Bangka Belitung) are currently being prepared, according to downstream oil and gas authority BPH Migas Director, Umi Asngadah.
?While completing the tender documents, there?s also a team campaigning for the planned project in the regions. Once all preparations have been completed, the tender will be opened,? Umi said.
Umi said that gas supply can either come from ConocoPhillips, Jambi Merang block, or LNG.
Elsewhere, Umi said that construction progress of the Gresik-Semarang open access pipeline project has now reached 40 percent, and is targeted to be completed next year. Meanwhile, the Semarang-Cirebon pipeline project has yet to make any progress.
