Downstream oil, gas regulatory body BPH Migas has this month issued decision to raise gas transmission toll fee from Grissik, South Sumatra to Singapore pipeline owned by PT Transportasi Gas Indonesia (TGI).
BPH Migas Committee Member Heru Wahyudi told Petromindo.Com on Thursday that the toll fee was raised to US$ 0.74 per MMBTU from $0.69 per MMBTU previously. Heru said the toll fee increase was effective this month.
TGI, which is a subsidiary of IDX-listed gas distribution firm PT PGN (Persero), had been asking for an increase to $1.3 per MMBTU.
TGI is transporting gas from ConocoPhillips and PetroChina.
Heru said that PGN is also asking for toll fee increase for Pagar Dewa (South Sumatra) to Banten, Grissik to Duri segments and for North Sumatra pipeline. ?BPH Migas is still evaluating the proposal,? he said. (bernard)
