BPH Migas teams up with LEMIGAS in fuel quality inspection

The downstream oil and gas authority BPH Migas signed on Friday a MOU with the Center for Oil and Gas Research and Technology (PPPTMGB), a unit under the Oil and Gas Institution (LEMIGAS) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on cooperation in the inspection of quality of fuel products.
The ministry said in a statement the cooperation will also cover assessment of fuel subsidy policy, fuel distribution infrastructure facilities, and supervision of jet fuel distribution.
Fuel Oil Director at BPH Migas, Alfons Simanjuntak said that BPH Migas plays key role in supervision the distribution of fuel oil products in the country to help ensure that they meet the specifications as set by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas.
Setyorini Tri Hutami of LEMIGAS said that the institution has complete lab facilities and experts to help BPH Migas in the inspection of fuel products quality.
