BPH MIGAS to start 2010 subsidized fuel distribution tender in Feb

Downstream regulatory body BPH MIGAS said it would start process to tender 2010 subsidized fuel distribution as early as February next year to allow participants to prepare distribution infrastructures.

Chairman Tubagus Haryono was quoted by Kontan as saying that bidders would be expected to submit documents in March and winners would be announced in August.

State oil and gas company has been given monopoly to distribute subsidized fuel for 2009. But Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro had signaled that other companies might be given role in 2010. (*)
