The downstream oil and gas regulator BPHMIGAS expects fertilizer companies obtaining natural gas via gas pipelines to be exempted from having to pay toll fee.
BPHMIGAS chairman Tubagus Haryono said on Thursday on the sidelines of a meeting at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources that there is a clause in the new government regulation on cost recovery in the oil and gas sector imposing toll fee in the distribution of natural gas via pipeline.
Tubagus said that imposing such fee on fertilizer companies will have the price of fertilizer products in the country.
?What BPHMIGAS wants is that fertilizer companies not to be burdened with the toll fee, so that the selling price of fertilizer products can be cheaper,? he said. (godang)
