BPMIGAS announces winners for further EPC works at Cepu

Consortium of engineering firms PT Inti Karya Persada Teknik and PT Kelsri has won a contract for EPC 2 works at the ExxonMobil?s Cepu block in East Java, a senior official at upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Wednesday.
BPMIGAS Vice-Chairman Hardiono told Petromindo.com that the EPC 2 is worth US$58 million.
He said consortium of state engineering firm PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind) and Dubai-based firm Lipkin LLC has won the EPC 3 works valued at $141 million.
Meanwhile, consortium of PT Rekind and state construction firm PT Hutama Karya won the EPC 5 works.
Hardiono gave no further details.
ExxonMobil, together with partner state oil, gas company PT Pertamina is developing the giant block to reach production capacity of 165,000 BPD in 2013.
The Cepu construction works are divided into five packages: production facilities, onshore pipeline, subsea pipeline and FSO, infrastructures and subsurface. (bernard)
