BPMIGAS asks Eni to submit PoD for Bukat

Upstream oil and gas authority BPMIGAS warned Italian firm Eni SpA to submit plan of development (PoD) for its Bukat deepwater PSC block in Makassar block or risk facing termination.

?Eni must submit PoD by year end,? Chairman R. Priyono told Parliamentary hearing on Tuesday. He did not give further detail.

According to Petromindo.Com data, Bukat block contract was signed in 1998.

Eni has earlier made oil discoveries in Tulip and Aster wells. Director General of Oil and Gas Evita Legowo said in April 2009 that the block might be able to produce 30,000-40,000 BPD when developed. (godang)
