BPMIGAS, Genting Oil discussing pre PoD for Asap field

Upstream authority BPMIGAS and Genting Oil & Gas Limited, a Malaysian oil and gas company, is currently discussing the pre-Plan of Development (pre PoD) for Asap field within Kasuri Block in Papua.
?Genting will submit pre PoD for Asap field in Kasuri block,? Haposan Napitupulu, Deputy for Planning of BPMIGAS, told Petromindo.com.
As for PoD of Tangguh train 3 to be developed by BP Indonesia, Haposan said that BPMIGAS expects BP would submit the PoD in July.
Genting Oil has earlier conducted 3D seismic survey on 200 sqkm (surface footprint) at its Kasuri PSC block, West Papua. Genting holds 100 percent stake in the block which was awarded in 2008 and is operating it through its unit Genting Oil Kasuri Pte Ltd.
