Upstream authority BPMIGAS hopes that production from Cepu Block, which is developed by ExxonMobil Indonesia, will increase over 22,000 barrels per day when the development of pipeline by Geolink be completed.

"Currently, Geolink is developing second pipeline in parallel with the first pipeline. The size is the same at 6 inch. When the second pipeline completed, then a hurdle to raise production will be solved, so that production will exceed the current level of 22,000 barrels per day,? BPMIGAS Public Relations, Security, and Formality Division Head Gde Pradnyana told Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Gde hopes that the pipeline development will be completed in the near future. ?We?re currently working on the licensing and dealing with land clearing with the local owners of the land sites,? he said.
