BPMIGAS plans maintenance for Tangguh LNG plant next year

BPMIGAS's spokesman Elan Biantoro said on Wednesday the agency has planned to shut down Tangguh's Train I in February next year for maintenance, which is estimated to take one month. This will be followed by a maintenance of Train II around May.
"The detailed schedule is not fixed yet," he said.
He made the statement to correct the news published by Petromindo on Wednesday, quoting himself, stating that Train I had been shut down for maintenance and Train will be shut down for maintenance in January.
Elan explained that there was a problem with Train I's propane compressor from Nov. 21-29, which resulted in a production decline to 510 MMCFD. But production has turned normal since Nov. 30.
"Tangguh LNG plants are now in full capacity," he said in a statement to Petromindo.com. (Godang/Giok)
