BPMIGAS receives 58 PoDs for approval

Upstream authority BPMIGAS has received 58 Plan of Developments (PoD) for oil and gas projects submitted by oil and gas companies as of mid January 2012.
Among major fields to be developed are Jambaran (PT Pertamina EP), Pandan (PT Energi Pandan), Palmerah (Tately N.V.) and Tonga field (PT Mosesa Petroleum).
"The PoDs include those carried over from December. We are currently studying them," Haposan Napitupulu, BPMIGAS Deputy for Planning, told Petromindo.com.
Haposan noted that there are currently more than 200 working areas (WK) under exploration stage. Some have submitted PoDs, some have yet to submit PoD, pending on oil and gas discovery.
