Leaders and senior officials of oil and gas upstream regulatory agency BPMIGAS signed on Tuesday the so-called ?integrity pact? to fight against corruption and to ensure transparency and accountability.

?The signing of the pact is driven by the need to become better, that we need to work on the principles that we have agreed upon, that is transparent, accountable, clean and professional,? BPMIGAS? Chairman Kardaya Warnika said.

He urged other stakeholders in the country?s oil and gas upstream sector to follow suit.

Top executives of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina have signed a similar pact. (Alex)
