BPMIGAS tells Genting to revise PoD

Upstream oil, gas company BPMIGAS tells Malaysian firm Genting Oil to revise Plan of Pevelopment (PoD) it submitted to tap oil, gas reserves at Anambas offshore block in Natuna Sea.

Deputy Chairman in charge of Planning Achmad Luthfi told Petromindo.Com on Friday that BPMIGAS did not agree on the way the company estimated its reserves. ?We advised them to drill more wells to confirm the reserves,? he said.

Genting, which has 100 percent interest in the block, has drilled three wells had made 100 percent success in the three wells it drilled in Anambas. (godang)
