BPMIGAS updates progress of 15 working areas

BPMIGAS, oil and gas upstream sector authority, has provided progress report on 15 working areas (WKs), as follows:

2.	Bagong 2 in WK Birdhead Salawati	JOB Petrochina Salawati	Production was halted. Now, the company is waiting for rig to resume production
3.	Handal -1, Rokan PSC, Riau	Chevron Pacific Indonesia	Already begun production
4.	North Arar I in Birdhead area Papua	PetroChina International (Bermuda) Ltd	Began production since April 2011 at volume of 1.5 mmscfd and condensate of 10 bopd. Gas reserves estimated at 4.69 bcf
5.	Meta well in S&SC working area	Medco E&P	Production began since March 2011 from 4 wells with production rate of 350 bopd. Reserves were estimated at 820,000 barrels of oil
6.	RM-2 well in Selat Panjang WK	Petroselat Ltd	Production began since February 2012 at a rate of 100-150 bopd.
7.	Sembatu-3 in S&SC working area	PT Medco E&P	Production being halted, pending on the completion of well service. Production started in November 2011
8.	Pondok Makmur field, in Bekasi, West Java	PT Pertamina EP	EPCI construction being undertaken
9.	South Betara Phase II, WK Jabung	Petrochina Jabung	In the process of FEED (front-end engineering design)
