BPMIGAS vows to increase local content level to 55 percent by 2010

The Upstream Oil and Gas Regulating Authority BPMIGAS has set a target to increase the utilization of local content (TKDN) in upstream sector to 55 percent by 2010. Investor Daily reported Tuesday.
?Besides this, BPMIGAS must support efforts to enhance national capability to compete more, create jobs and utilization of local goods and services,? BPMIGAS head of logistical and asset management Bambang Kartika said in Jakarta recently.
Last year the TKDN level was 52 percent, he said. (*)
