BPPT, K-Coal & JEI to develop energy, coal and mineral website

Indonesia?s Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), Korea-based K-Coal and Japan Energy Infolink (JEI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop energy, coal and mineral website.

The cooperation would enable the three countries to share data on energy-related sector, including investment opportunities in energy and infrastructure as well as to monitor coal prices in global and respective countries.

?With this cooperation, the three countries could collaborate to do more business. As you well know, China, Japan and Korea are the three greatest power in Asia. China and Indonesia have huge energy resource potential as well as the largest energy consumers, " deputy head of the BPPT?s information technology, energy and material affairs, Unggul Priyanto said in the statement.

The planned website would be launched in January 2013.
