BRE produces 900,000 ton in Q1

Indonesia coal producer company PT Bhumi Rantau Energi (BRE) produced about 900,000 tons of coal in the first quarter of 2013 from its concession in Rantau, Tapin Region, South Kalimantan.
Setiawan Herlianto S, Bhumi Rantau Director told Petromindo.com that the company is expecting to produce 4 million tons of coal this year, double from last year's figure of 2.1 million tons.
"This year we want to double the output," he said on the sideline of Coaltrans China conference in Beijing recently.
The company has low-rank thermal coal with a calorific value of 5,400 kcal/kg (adb) with low ash and sulphur content.
