Breaking News: Jonan, Arcandra installed as new minister and vice minister

President Joko Widodo installed on Friday Ignasius Jonan, former transportation minister, as new minister of energy and mineral resources, and Arcandra Tahar, former minister of energy and mineral resources, as vice minister of energy and mineral resources.
President Jokowi installed the new minister and vice minister in a ceremony at the state palace on Friday afternoon.
Arcandra was dismissed from his post as minister of energy and mineral resources on August 15, after assuming it for only a month, due to dual citizenship scandal. He was replaced by Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, who is also maritime coordinating minister, as acting minister of energy and mineral resources.
