BRMS seeks equity partners for gold projects

IDX-listed mining firm PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) is seeking for equity partners to help develop its gold projects in Palu, Central Sulawesi Province, and in Gorontalo Province, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Thursday.

The paper quoted BRMS?s Investor Relations Head Erwin Hidayat as saying that there are a number of companies which have expressed interest and are currently conducting due diligence process including China Non-Ferrous Metal Industry?s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co Ltd (NFC).

NFC owns an interest in BRMS? North Sumatra-based zinc mining firm PT Dairi Prima Mineral.

The paper said that BRMS through subsidiary PT Cita Palu Minerals owns gold concession in Palu which has resources of up to 6.7 million tons, with grade of 4.33 gram/ton Au, and is projected to start production in the second semester of 2019.

Meanwhile, in Gorontalo, BRMS owns concession with gold resources of 105.4 million tons. (*)
