Indonesia?s big CBM potentials have attracted investors from Brunei Darussalam and Japan to invest here, according to Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Jero Wacik.
?I just met with Brunei?s Energy Minister who has expressed his country?s interest in investing in Indonesia. They plan to explore CBM potentials in East Kalimantan,? said Wacik during the 12th Gasex event in Bali.
Separately, the Ministry?s Director General of Oil and Gas Evita Legowo said that Japan?s Inpex Corp. has also plans to enter the coal bed methane industry in Indonesia. ?Inpex is exploring CBM investment here,? Evita said, without elaborating.
