BSSR expects 1m tons output from Loa Janan

IDX-listed coal mining company PT Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (BSSR) said that it expected to produce around one million tons from it coal concession located in Loa Janan, East Kalimantan, this year.

Elia Yuanta, Marketing Director of the company told Petromindo.com that up to the third quarter of this year the Loa Janan concession has produced around 700,000 tons coal.

"All of the coal from Loa Janan are exported to India and Korea," he said, adding that in 2016 the company will maintain its coal production from Loa Janan at the level of 1 million tons.

"This year we are targeting to have 1 million tons output, and next year we are eyeing one million tons output as well," he said.

BSSR has a total of 2,459.8 hectares of coal concession which is divided into four blocks and the coal is marketed according to the block from which it is mined. The coal produced has calorific value of 3,300 kcal/kg gar to 4,350 kcal/kg gar.
