Budi Santoso joins the WMN board

ASX-listed Western Mining Network Limited (WMN) announced Monday a further strengthening of its executive management team with the appointment of mining engineer Budi Santoso as an Executive Director and Chief Technical Officer.
The company said in a statement Santoso has over twenty six years? experience in the mining industry, ranging from green field exploration through to mine development and operation. In his most recent role, Santoso was a Principal Mining Engineer and President Director of PT SRK Consulting Indonesia, a leading exploration and mining consulting company.
Throughout his career, Santoso has worked in a number of roles including consulting for mining engineering and construction management as well as senior mining engineer and project management posit ions. Previous to SRK Consulting Indonesia, Santoso has worked at PT Sari Industrial Corporation, PT Kaltim Prima Coal, PT Kilborn Pakar Rekayasa, PT SNC-LAVALIN and PT Paiton Energy.

Santoso holds a BSc (Mining Engineering) from Bandung Institute of Technology. He is a member of The Australasian Inst itute of Mining and Metallurgy and PERHAPI (The Indonesian Mining Profe ssional Association).
WMN has a number of mining assets in Indonesia as follows.
PT Genesis Berkat Utama (GENESIS): a manganese concession with IUP Production license in Toli Toli, Central Sulawesi containing rock chip results of between 41.4 and 55.3% Mn.
PT Persada Bumi Rawas: a gold concession. The Persada Tenement is located northeast of Palu in Central Sulawesi, between Toli-Toli and Buol. The Tenement is approximately 50 km east of Toli-Toli and covers 5,000 hectares. There is an existing access road to the tenement via Lakea village road, which is on the West of the Buol ? Toli-Toli Highway.
WMN has also completed the transaction to acquire options to purchase up to 75 percent of PT Mekongga Sejahtera and 99 percent of PT Eagle Rich Nusantara, giving WMN access to 98.04 ha of Mekongga graphite Tenement in Tamboli, Kolaka , South East Sulawesi as well the potential graphite beneficiation and industrial estate establishments.
