PT Bukaka Teknik Utama and PT Hadji Kalla will consider to build a hydro electricity plant at Lindu Lake in Donggala regency, in Central Sulawesi, the Bisnis Indonesia newspaper reported in its Friday edition.
Donggala Legislative Council speaker Ridwan Yalidjama said the plant will use the water from the Lindu Lake.
?Both the Bukaka and Hadji Kalla have conveyed their consent to the Donggala regency administration to invest. Moreover, they have even calculated the amount of funds needed to build the power plant,? Ridwan said in Palu on Thursday.
Donggala administration, according to Ridwan, has already expressed its support for the project, which is seen crucial to help avoid a possible power crisis in the future.
The planned Lindu power plant will cost between Rp 185 billion to Rp 200 billion. (*)
