Bukit Asam has new board of directors

Publicly-listed coal miner PT Bukit Asam Tbk has new board of director with Milawarma named as its new President Director to replace Sukrisno who held the post since 2006.

Milawarma, graduated from the University of Wollongong, Australia, previously held position as company?s operational and production director of Bukit Asam since 2006.

The extraordinary stakeholder meeting of the state coal miner on Thursday also appointed Achmad Sudarto as new Finance Director replacing Heri Supriyanto. Achmad is the former corporate secretary of Bukit Asam.

President Director of Bukit Asam?s subsidiary of PT Bukit Pembangkit Inovative, Anung Driprasetio was named as new director of business development at Bukit Asam.

The meeting also agreed to appoint Maizal Gazali, former Senior Manager of Information Management System, as new Director of Human Resources and General affairs replacing Mahbub Iskandar.

Muhammad Jamil who previously held the post of Senior Manager of Logistic was then named as the company?s Commerce Director.

?I am optimist the new board of directors could continue the company?s existing programs,? Sukrisno said on the sidelines of the stakeholder meeting.

The meeting also appointed Patrialis Akbar, former minister of law and human rights affairs as President Commissioner of PT Bukit Asam to replace Supriyadi.

Meanwhile, South Sumatra Governor Alex Noerdin asked the company to name two member of its commissioner board who would represent South Sumatra province. (giok)
