Bukit Asam sells 9.86 MT of coal as of September

State-owned coal miner PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) booked net profit of Rp2.33 trillion in nine months to September 2011, jumped 68.5% from Rp1.38 trillion in the corresponding period of last year.
Sales volume as of September slightly increased to 9.86 million tonnes with coal production also increased by 8 percent to 10.18 million tonnes.
PTBA is targeting to sell 16.8 million tonnes of coal this year, or 23 percent increase compared to last year. (romel)
