Bukit Baiduri produces 2.04 million tons of coal in 2002

East Kalimantan-based coalminer PT Bukit Baiduri Enterprise said on Wednesday it production had reached approximately 2.04 million tons in 2002 or slightly up from 2.01 million tons in 2001.
?We have produced some 2.04 million tons last year,? company president director, R. Kasenda told Petromindo.Com, adding that the company planned to increase output to 2.5 million tons this year.
Bukit Baiduri?s mine concession is located about 17 kilometers from Mahakam River in East Kalimantan.
Most of the company?s products are shipped to Taiwan, southern China, Thailand, India, Japan and South Korea. (alex)
