Bukit Baiduri's output at 1m tons in first semester

Indonesian coal miner PT. Bukit Baiduri Energi recently stated it has surpassed its production target for the first half of 2012 with a total production of over 1 million tons.

Djunali D, General Manager of Bukit Baiduri Energi told Petromindo.com today that the company is maintaining its production target of 2 million tons set earlier for this year.

"We are continuing our production to reach our target, we don't have any plan to revise the target and hopefully the market will be back to normal soon," he said,adding that most of its coal are exported to India.

Djunali said that in the first quarter 2012, the company has produced more than 400,000 tons of coal of 6,000 CV from several mines in East Kalimantan, which accumulatively have total reserve of around 20 million tons.
