Bukit Baiduri to start coal production from new mines

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Bukit Baiduri Energi (BBE) plans to start coal production from its new coal mines in Kutai Kartanegara regency next year, the company?s official told Petromindo.Com
The official said that the new mines are subsidiary of BBE namely PT Kutai Makmur Indah dan PT Geo Bara. Coal from both mines has calorific value of 5,400-5,900 kcal/kg (GAR).
The first production amount has not been decided yet, the official said. ?We don?t have buyers for them yet. But we're not worried, there are so many buyers around,? the official added. (denny)
