Bukit Makmur and Gunungbayan amend mining service contract

Mining service contractor PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), a subsidiary of PT Delta Dunia Makmur has signed a new mining service contract worth US$640 million with PT Gunungbayan Pratamacoal, a subsidiary of PT Bayan Resources Tbk to amend its previous contract which would end term in 2013.

Under the amended contract, Bukit Makmur would extent its mining services to Gunungbayan until the period of 2017.

?According to amendment of the contract, the two parties (companies) have agreed to extent the mining service contract from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2017,? Delta Dunia Makmur said in the statement.

Bukit Makmur's mining services is overburden removal with the expected volume of 260 million bank cubic meter (bcm). (romel)
