Bukit Makmur signs extension contract with Adaro

IDX-listed PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk announced on Tuesday that its mining service subsidiary, PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BMMU), has signed an extension contract with IDX-listed coal mining giant PT Adaro Indonesia for four years until 2019. Adaro has been one of BMMU?s principal customers since 2002 with operations in South Kalimantan.

Under the new contract, BMMU is tasked to remove 170 million bank cubic meters of overburden and extract 25 million tons of coal over the contract period. The contract value is estimated to be approximately Rp 4.2 trillion.

Earlier this year, BMMU also signed contracts with new customers PT Sungai Danau Jaya and PT Tadjahan Antang Mineral. These three contracts have a combined value of over Rp 9 trillion.
