BUMA produces 19.9 million tonnes of coal as of July

Indonesia-listed firm PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk reported last week that its contractor unit PT Bukti Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA) produced 3.4 million tonnes of coal in July 2011, an 11.6% increase compared to the same period last year of 3 million tonnes.
Overburden removal during the same period was up 26.7% to 32 million bcm, the company said.
As of July, BUMA?s total coal production and overburden removal reached 19.9 million tonnes of coal and 187.5 million bcm, respectively.
BUMA is the second largest coal contractor in Indonesia. BUMA?s major clients are PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Arutmin Indonesia, PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Berau Coal, PT Kideco Jaya Agung and Gunungbayan Pratama Coal.(denny)
