Bumi acquires Bengalon terminal operator

JSX-listed energy firm PT.Bumi Resoureces Tbk. Announced on Tuesday that it had acquired 99.84 percent stake of PT.Mitratama Perkasa, which operates a coal port in Bengalon, East Kutai regency.
The company said the acquisition would support the company?s operations. The company?s subsidiary PT.Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) has extensive operations in Bengalon.
The company did not disclose acquisition value. (alex)
