Bumi Armada Offshore sets up new subsidiary

Malaysia-based international offshore oilfield services provider Bumi Armada Berhad said that its subsidiary Bumi Armada Offshore Holdings Limited, has on March 3, 2015 incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary in the Republic of The Marshall Islands under the name of Armada Madura EPC Limited .

The company said in a statement Wednesday that the authorized capital of Armada Madura is US$50,000 comprising 50,000 shares of $1.00 each, of which 10 shares have been issued upon incorporation. The intended principal business activities of Armada Madura are ship owners, charterers, managers of ships and vessels, marine support and other services to offshore oil and gas companies.

Bumi Armada late last year signed a contract to supply a floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the Madura BD gas field in the Madura Straits block, offshore East Java, operated by Husky-CNOOC Madura Ltd. The vessel will be supplied by Bumi Armada Offshore Holdings.
