Bumi Armada says FPSO starts to receive gas from Madura BD

Malaysian FPSO provider Bumi Armada Berhad reported on Wednesday that its Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO) Karapan Armada Sterling III has recently received first gas from Madura BD field.
Karapan Armada Sterling III is designed to process 110 mmscfd scales gas, 7,500 barrels oil condensate, and is equipped with sulphur handling facilities. It has a 12-point spread mooring arrangement and has a storage capacity of 370,000 barrels.
The FPSO is deployed to the Madura BD Field in Madura Strait, East Java which is operated by Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited (HCML).
Husky Energy reported on Tuesday First gas sales are expected to begin soon at the BD Gas Project in the Madura Strait, with an expected ramp-up to full sales gas rates during the second half of 2017.
