Bumi Bara Perkasa ramps up coal production from Jambi mine

Jambi coal miner PT Bumi Bara Perkasa said on Wednesday it would ramp up coal production to 600,000 tonnes next year from the planned 500,000 tonnes this year.
The company?s Merketing manager Anton told Peromindo.Com that the company?s fisrt half 2007 production was 250,000 tonnes.
The company produced 375,000 tonnes of coal in 2006.
According to Anton, the company directly sells 50 percent of its production to end customers and the rest through traders.
The company exports most of its coal production to India, China and South Korea. Domestically it sells to power plants and cement plants in Sumatra and Java.
The company operates a 1,900 hectares of concession in Bungo regency. The company produces coal with CV value of 6,200 Kcal/kg. (denny)
