Bumi Konawe Mining hopes to get forestry permit next month

Mineral mining company PT Bumi Konawe Mining expects to finally obtain the necessary forestry permit for its nickel ores concession in Malone, Southeast Sulawesi, next month.
Victor Tskhovrebov, a director of the company, told to Petromindo.com that as soon as the permit is issued, the company will immediately conduct exploration work at the 3,175 concession.
"We have been waiting for several years to get the permit. Hopefully, next month it will be issued so we can step to exploration stage," he said, adding that the company has spent around US$ 6 million for the investment at the concession so far.
